siTigun

No prizes if you guess correctly where this quaint and a little rustic cafe is.
Dimana? In Penang, of course.

We were busy looking for kueh-chap. But kueh-chap we didn't find, instead we stumbled upon Si-Tigun at Jalan Nagore. They serve some cakes and biscotti with some really refreshing coffee. Of course, we stopped for a cuppa bcos the hubby is a coffee enthusiast, lately.
Nice place for a chit-chat. Specials? Cyclers, welcome! (Because it seems the owner has cycled all over the world but decided to settled down here.)
They have an online site, tho not fully in use yet, i think.

In Search of a Perfect Black Tea ...cake

Let's see. I love tea. Coffee's cool, too. But most of my day is filled with teh tariks, ocha or a nice mug of strong tea for those late hours. Well, its probably due to the fact that coffee seldom works to keep those winks away, hence my poison of choice is Cha.

Lately, a beautiful cup of milk tea is all that i'd kill for ...

Been spending the past two days (due to the Raya Hols), trying out various combinations to a sublime Kocha pound cake. Can you imagine what a Lapsang Souchong cake tastes like? So far, i still think Kenyan tea is the best flavour, though feedback is it is too sweet. Next round, must sieve out the larger bits for a nicer, less grainy bite.
